Introduction to Black Behavior Analysis

Introduction to Black Behavior Analysis is a rigorous nine-course learning series centered on seminal works by Black scholars who examined behavior, culture, racism, mental health, education, community, power, and liberation.

We originally announced Introduction to Black Behavior Analysis at a higher tuition rate. Given the current economic climate, we intentionally lowered the cost of the full nine-course series so that more students, practitioners, and scholars can access this work.

We know the value of this course as there is nothing else like it currently available in the field of Behavior Analysis. This is a nine-course academic series built around seminal Black behavioral scholarship, with live instruction, assigned readings, discussions, applied assignments, a full syllabus, and up to 18 CEUs. In scope and rigor, it is far closer to a graduate-level course than a typical webinar series, and comparable academic coursework could easily cost thousands of dollars.

However, we desire to respond to the larger cultural and economic context in which people are living right now. People are making hard decisions about groceries, gas, housing, childcare, tuition, and professional development. We do not want important Black scholarship to become something only people with significant disposable income can afford to study.

We also recognize that some members of our community have greater financial capacity than others. Donations will help support scholarships for individuals who may otherwise be unable to participate in the series.

Our goal is to make this scholarship more accessible without diminishing the depth, rigor, or value of the academic experience.
