Join us this fall for the first installment of the BABA CEU “Leveling Up” series–we hope the community is as excited as we are!
Dr. Danica Moise will lead us through a CEU that empowers Black behavior analysts to pursue doctoral education and expand their influence in higher education and research. This presentation addresses the unique challenges scholars face when entering higher education, providing strategies for gaining admission, securing funding, and overcoming systemic barriers.
The session emphasizes the importance of building a supportive “village” during doctoral studies, offering insights into the academic experience and what to expect throughout the PhD journey. It also explores post-graduation opportunities, encouraging Black PhDs to leverage their degrees for meaningful impact in research, practice, and policy. By sharing practical advice, this presentation aims to inspire the next generation of Black behavior analysts to advance their education and increase representation in the field’s upper echelons. We hope you can join us for this amazing virtual event!
