The Black Association of Behavior Analysts (BABA) is proud to announce that its 2026 Annual Convention will take place June 24–27, 2026, at Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi. This marks the first time in the organization’s history that the convention will be hosted at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).
Hosting the annual convention at Jackson State University represents a significant milestone for BABA, reflecting the organization’s commitment to honoring Black academic spaces, legacy institutions, and the future of Black scholarship and professional leadership in behavior analysis.
The 2026 convention will bring together students, practitioners, researchers, educators, and community leaders for three days of learning, collaboration, and community building. Programming will include research presentations, community development, and joy!
The Call for Papers is currently open and will close on January 30, 2026. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered. BABA encourages early submission from scholars and practitioners whose work reflects the depth and diversity of Black behavior analysis.
Convention tickets will go on sale in 2026, with additional details regarding registration and programming to be announced. The official hotel room block will be released in January 2026.
More information about the 2026 Annual Convention, including registration, lodging, and program updates, will be shared in the coming months.
