In June 2026, BABA hosted their first convention at a HBCU, Jackson State University. The convention was magical: the keynotes, workshops, opening and closing ceremonies and the evening events all wove together to create an unforgettable convention! Attendees returned to their homes feeling inspired, connected and invigorated.

Jackson was the ideal setting for BABA 2026–the food, culture, people, energy, history and atmosphere was electric!

Join us for a virtual event where we revel in the memories of the convention, answer questions from the community, reflect on decisions made in the planning process and view pictures from the convention together.
